Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Anwen (she/they) previously pursued her musical growth at the Mount Royal Conservatory. They are currently in their fourth undergraduate year at the University of Toronto., where she studies classical flute performance under the tutelage of Camille Watts, and is also skilled in traverso (baroque flute) and piccolo. Anwen has been a recipient of various music awards, including three gold medals from the Royal Conservatory of Music and a Platinum Seal from the Calgary Performing Arts Festival. She has attended numerous music festivals/intensives, such as Domaine Forget, Orford Music Academy, and the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute, as well as taking part in various student and faculty-led ensembles at her institution. Anwen is particularly passionate for early and baroque music, and they also enjoy orchestral music.
