Lorne Grossman did his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. He was immediately offered work with the Stratford Festival, Royal Alexandria Theatre in Toronto and the O’Keefe Centre in Toronto. Within a few years, Lorne was principal percussion with the Canadian Opera Company (1972-1985) and a semi regular percussionist with the National Ballet of Canada (1974-1991). Lorne played on many TV commercials in the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. He toured with Phantom of the Opera throughout Canada, Alaska and Hawaii twice from 1991-1994. Again he was on tour with Music of the Night 1995-1996. Staying home, Lorne had been playing drum set with the National Arts Centre Orchestra until 2011 and presently performs with the Oakville Symphony, Peterborough Symphony, Rose Orchestra, Ontario Philharmonic and occasionally with the Hamilton Philharmonic, London Symphonia and North Bay Symphony.

Lenny Graf came from a family of professional musicians, and has studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Eastman School of Music in Rochester N.Y., and York University, where he holds a degree in Fine Arts. He Also attended the Creighton Academy of Fine Arts, and is the recipient of the Grenick Award for outstanding potential in the arts. His diverse career as a musical entertainer, jazz musician, symphony player, composer and bandleader has taken him across North America and beyond, and his award winning recordings have played on the Top-10 list on U.S. Radio. He has worked with such personalities as Petula Clark, Dinah Shore, Gordie Tapp, Sharon, Lois & Bram and Peter Appleyard among others. He currently makes regular appearances in concert, in festivals and on Canadian television, and his videos can be seen on YTV and his music on CBC Radio and in the USA. Providing Toronto and North America with quality music since 1985, this versatile group can provide any style of music expertly, ranging from Swing, Big-Band, Latin to Classic Rock and more current Top-40/Rock on request. Also smaller groups available, including Jazz, Dixie, Medieval and Classical music. Just some of the selections include the music of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Glen Miller, the Beatles as well as more current artists. The lead singer and sax/clarinet/flute player, Lenny Graf brings with him a wealth of experience, from playing and vocalizing Sinatra Classics to the music of Elvis, the Rolling Stones, Van Morrison or Eric Clapton among many others. Much of the musicality of the band is owing to the crafted arrangements of legendary bandleader Eddie Graf, who has had a very positive influence on the music scene in Canada. Some more recent events include the Scarborough Civic Centre Concert Series, Arts & Letters Club, the St. George’s Society, Mel Lastman Square’s Sunday Series and the Kindred Spirits Orchestra’s Annual Gala Concert. Jan 1 2021 – Orillia, ONLance is a Juno award winning producer (Leahy) and the 2014 Maple Blues Award ‘Keyboardist of the Year’. He has a degree in music from Western Univ. Honours B. Mus. (Composition) and has both film and TV credits as a writer.In 2015, Lance was music co-producer and performer on ‘Oscar With Love’ a critically acclaimed 3CD package that commemorated Oscar Peterson’s 90th birthday, that included some of the world’s top jazz pianists including Chick Corea, Ramsey Lewis, Michel Legrand, and Oliver Jones, playing Peterson compositions. It was released on December 11th, 2015. He performed ‘Sir Lancewell’ a new Peterson composition written for him, by the jazz great.Considered one of Canada’s finest record producers, Lance has his own label Make It Real Records which only records live-off-the-floor and captures the drama of a real performance. Blackburn, Fathead, Garth Hudson, The Cameo Blues Band and 2B3 The Toronto Sessions are just some of the artists Lance has produced. In 2015 Lance produced ‘Inside Out’ by Harmonica wizard Roly Platt, and toured his productions of ‘The Last Waltz’, ‘Mad Dogs and Englishmen’ and ‘Soulsville – The Music of Stax’ to sold out theatres across Canada.Lance spent ten years touring North America and the world with Shakura S’Aida and arranged two Symphony shows of her music and performed as well. He conducted the Wheeling West Virginia Symphony for the premiere of ‘Symphony in G Minor’. In May of 2017 The Okanagan Symphony and Ballet Kelowna premiered Lance’s orchestral arrangement of Oscar Peterson’s ‘The Canadiana Suite’. which had its world premiere in Kelowna BC. In Oct 2018 The Kitchener Symphony played 10 of Lance’s Musical arrangements in ‘Queens of Soul’.Lance is also an internationally known Hammond organ player, and his organ and drum duo, Anderson & Sloski are set to release their second CD in the spring of 2021. They have performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, The Mont Tremblant Blues Festival, The Southside Shuffle and the Kitchener Blues Festivals amongst many others and have been featured on CBC Radio’s Saturday Night Blues.2019 saw the release of ‘Saturday Night’ by MATCHEDASH PARISH a new 12 piece rockin’ Soul/Roots ensemble that Lance and Kitchener ON phenom Matt Weidinger have put together.Anderson is co-executive producer of the Boquete Panama Jazz and Blues Festival, and the Beaches Panama Jazz and Blues Fest (Panama) and is Artistic Director (music) of Orillia Centre Presents – a music, dance and art festival in Orillia ON.
